Vet Show London

The London Vet Show at ExCeL London is one of the UK’s most influential veterinary events, drawing thousands of professionals for two days of learning and collaboration. PSP Exhibitions was proud to work alongside Closer Still Media and deliver the most ambitious technical programme in the event’s history setting a new standard for scale.

The challenge was clear: with 32 theatres and a packed schedule, every session needed to run flawlessly.

Our approach focused on precision and efficiency. The full exhibition was delivered with the client’s budget in mind with cost saving targets to reach, these were exceeded. PSP achieved this without compromise optimising projector choices, rethinking theatre layouts, and staggering theatre build times for flexibility. Pre-production was key and regular clients catch-ups allowed PSP to anticipate challenges ahead of time so foreseeing any challenges on site so we could adapt without disruption. The result? A seamless delivery and no delays.

Innovation defined the technical delivery with the keynote theatre utilising 120 LED panels, E2 switcher, cameras and a huge PA system to cover the 1700 delegate space. Outside of this PSP transformed the smaller theatres into immersive spaces, impressing even the biggest names in science. Utilising 19 high-performance projectors, from 12K brilliance to 6K precision, delivering crisp visuals, while sleek plasma screens and more than 80 exhibitor screens combined with exhibitor PA systems kept content flowing across the venue. Not forgetting The Gallery Suites and four additional platinum suite theatres with further conference layouts.

Every session was recorded and encoded in-house, ensuring high-quality content for on-demand access. This wasn’t just an exhibition it was a showcase of teamwork, technical expertise and creative thinking.

The Pet Plan awards dinner was held within The Platinum Suites on the evening of show day 1. This was all self-contained and ran as a separate event to the main show with full set, projection, audio and lighting. Managed and delivered with a separate team of crew alongside a dedicated PSP Project Manager.

The results speak for themselves. We delivered the largest technical programme London Vet Show has ever seen, whilst achieving the highest sound quality. Accessibility standards were met, consistency maintained across every space, and the team co-ordinated with over 450 speakers and 30 theatre managers without a single incident. Most importantly, there was zero downtime, no delays, no content loss, no technical interruptions, thanks to meticulous planning and a team committed to excellence

At PSP Exhibitions , we don’t just supply equipment we create confidence. For London Vet Show, that meant turning complexity into simplicity and ambition into reality. And we’re ready to do it all again.

Hear what Closer Still Media had to say.

“I don’t think I can ever fully express how grateful I am for you and the entire PSP team, but I’m going to try. London Vet Show is always the show that pushes us the most - 31 theatres, an awards night, content starting on build day, and a million moving parts. Yet every single year, it becomes the show that reminds me just how lucky I am to work with you and your entire team.

Big requests, last-minute changes, unexpected curveballs - all with total confidence. You make me feel supported in a way that goes far beyond logistics. And that feeling continues onsite with every single person wearing a PSP shirt (or hi vis!)

Pushing the AV to new heights and never settling for “good enough” - is something I am forever grateful for. After seven years of building this together, I’m so proud of how we continue to challenge ourselves, elevate the show, and create something more incredible every single time.

Thank you for being the heart of this partnership, and for giving me a team I trust with everything.”
