A bold entrance for a day of regional growth

PSP were proud to work alongside Bray Leino Events to deliver full technical production for the Regional Investment Summit, held at Edgbaston Stadium. The one-day event brought together key figures to explore investment opportunities across the UK.

The standout feature of PSP’s delivery was a 5.5m LED tunnel, custom-built using a new rigging system. Suspended within the Expo Hall, the tunnel created a striking entrance experience that set the tone for the day. It was a first-time build for PSP and quickly became a talking point among attendees.

Inside the stadium, PSP delivered a complete AV solution across multiple spaces. The main plenary featured a 6m x 4m LED wall, a PA system with 12 radio mics, and a tailored lighting setup enhanced by our new Ayrton Rivale fixtures, which received positive feedback from the client. Two breakout rooms the Warwickshire Suite and 1882 Lounge were equipped with consistent lighting, sound, and control systems, ensuring a smooth experience for speakers and delegates alike.

To support remote contributors, PSP created a dedicated speaker green room with a live relay of the plenary sessions. We also facilitated live video feeds throughout the venue, keeping all areas connected to the main content. In the Expo Hall, alongside the LED tunnel, we installed a raised Aluvision LED wall, digital totems, touchscreen displays, and lighting to highlight key areas including the Mayor’s showcase.

Outside, uplighters were used to illuminate display cars and the GREAT Britain letters, adding impact to the arrival experience and enhancing the visual identity of the event. With 58 crew members and four trucks on site, PSP managed the full production from build to breakdown.

Reflecting on the project Tom Fuller the lead Project Manager shared his thoughts “What an enjoyable event, doing what we do best and having the opportunity to do something a little bit different with the LED tunnel. I certainly enjoyed the extensive planning behind the scenes to pull all of this off—it was great to see it all come to life.”
