Our New d&b CCL Line Array & Team Training
We’re proud to announce a significant step forward in our audio capabilities with the recent addition of the award winning d&b CCL Line Array to our inventory. But for us, investing in world-class equipment is only half the story. To ensure we deliver exceptional results for our clients, our technical Project Management and warehouse team recently completed in-depth manufacturer-led training covering both theory and hands-on deployment.
Here’s a look at what we’ve been learning and how it benefits every show we deliver.
Core line array theory and practical application
Advanced system modelling using ArrayCalc, focusing on coverage, SPL consistency, time alignment and subwoofer phase optimisation
Implementation of filter sets such as CPL and the application of Array Processing
Workflow tools including ArraySight, DWG export for production integration, patch planning, and an introduction to R1 for system control and monitoring
The training concluded with a practical warehouse session, where the team rigged and deployed the CCL system, integrated subwoofers, carried out full system checks and Array Verification, and conducted critical listening tests to demonstrate processing capabilities.

A demonstration was arranged at PSP’s warehouse in Kings Norton, featuring just four CCL8 tops, two CCL-SUBs, and PSP’s own custom amplifier rack. It didn’t take long to appreciate the remarkable output relative to the system’s compact footprint. The balance between size, clarity, and power was immediately evident.
Very quickly, it became clear that the CCL was the perfect fit for PSP.
