Potamus by Arbor Studios; Real-Time, Interactive Visuals for Live Experiences

PSP are proud to share with you - Potamus by Arbor Studios. Potamus is a powerful real-time, audio-reactive visual engine from Arbor Studios, designed to elevate live events, brand activations, and immersive environments through high-performance generative visuals and audience-driven interaction.

At the core of Potamus is its web-driven interactive mode, enabling seamless audience participation via QR code access on personal devices. This allows users to influence parameters, customise visual outputs, and interact with content in real time without the need for dedicated hardware. One of its standout features is the AI Mirror, which uses live camera input and AI-driven styling to reimagine participants in a wide variety of visual aesthetics - creating personalised, shareable moments that significantly increase dwell time and engagement.

Originally developed for large-scale festival environments, Potamus was built to deliver bold, visually rich content with minimal latency and maximum reliability. As the platform has evolved, the introduction of web-based control tools and real-time camera inputs has transformed it into a highly flexible system suitable for a wide range of applications. Today, Potamus is used across exhibitions, projection mapping, immersive installations, and interactive brand experiences where responsiveness and visual impact are critical.

Arbor Studios joined us at the PSP Darts Masters event in December to demonstrate Potamus in a live event environment for both our team and clients. The fast-paced, high-energy setting provided a valuable setting for real event performance, user interaction, and system stability, while also generating actionable feedback to further refine Potamus’ interactive and audience-facing tools.
