Celebrating 25 years of PSP in 2025

2025 was a year to remember for PSP as we celebrated turning 25, a milestone that speaks to the journey we’ve taken and the people who’ve been part of it. From starting out just 100 yards down the road from our current Kings Norton HQ with a team of eight, to now having 43 full-time staff, the growth has been incredible. What makes it even more special is that we’re still working with clients who joined us back in 2000, proving that strong partnerships stand the test of time.

Last year wasn’t just about looking back, it was about celebrating and investing in the future. We brought our team together for a celebratory summer party, creating memories that reflect the culture we’ve built. We spoke to our clients, who shared what working with PSP means to them, and we invested back into the industry with freelancer days and training sessions to name a few, because collaboration and learning are at the heart of what we do.

Innovation remained a priority as always. We continued to make major investments in to our kit with PixelHue, d&B CCL Line Array, ROE and Aluvision LED products, continuing our commitment to pushing technical boundaries. For us, investing in technology isn’t just about equipment - it’s about enabling creativity and attracting the best clients and talent.

One of the highlights of the year was the return of our PSP Darts Masters. Bigger and better than before, it brought together agencies, suppliers and production specialists for a day that blended competition with connection. It wasn’t just an event; it was a celebration of the craft and the people who make live experiences happen.

To make our anniversary truly memorable, we launched our own line of merchandise, including a bespoke beer brewed in partnership with Birmingham Brewing Company. It was a fun way to mark the occasion and toast the partnerships that have shaped our journey.

Our story wouldn’t be complete without acknowledging the challenges we’ve overcome. Like many in the AV industry, the pandemic tested us in ways we never imagined. But by embracing virtual events and launching B30 Studios, working with our clients we found new ways to deliver experiences and keep our clients connected. That resilience is something we’re incredibly proud of.

“Over the last 25 years, the company has constantly evolved – in how we use technology to deliver live experiences, and how we support our clients. We’ve faced challenges, adapted quickly and continued to invest in the future of our industry. Today, PSP is stronger, more ambitious and more collaborative than ever, and we’re excited about what comes next.” David Woodcock, Managing Director.
