DCD Connect London 2026
PSP Exhibitions delivered the full technical production for DCD Connect London, working directly with DCD across eight theatres, numerous breakout rooms, three filming studios, numerous turnkey screens and a fully networked green room. It was a show built from a huge number of moving parts, several of which kept moving right up until the doors opened, PSP stayed on site throughout, encoding footage as it happened so the client had a full turnaround by the Monday after the show closed.
The brief
DCD asked PSP to deliver the technical production across the entire show floor, working directly with the organiser rather than through a third party. The scope covered eight theatres, four of them built and designed in-house including the full graphic design for print, eight further breakout rooms, three studios with full camera kits, lighting and recording hard disc recorders, and a green room combining networking with on-site content encoding.
Alongside the theatres and studios build, DCD requested over 1500 silent disco headsets supplied with rails and custom designs, plus mic sleeves across all eight theatre areas, each carrying different branding depending on the space.
The delivery
Four of the eight theatres were built around bespoke sets and designs by PSP's creative team, who also handled the full graphic design for print. Each theatre carried its own LED specification depending on what it needed to do: the main theatre ran on Roe LED and streamed out across the whole of day two and part of day one, Showcase Theatre ran on Unilumin 2.6mm LED, and Xcellerate 1 used a 1.9mm pitch HiLed screen. PSP also provided technical support across more than 90 screens on branded exhibitor Pods around the show floor.
Our design team designed the silent disco headset rails and the branding for all 1,500-plus headsets, along with the mic sleeves fitted across all eight theatre areas, each finished with a different branding option to match its space.
Across the three studios, PSP ran full camera kits, lighting and recording, while the green room combined a networking space with on-site encoding. Our in house editor worked on site to start
encoding footage as the show progressed, so DCD had everything turned around by the Monday upon their request after the show, and we also managed the green room's networking element throughout.
The team's approach went beyond the AV brief itself. When the organiser needed extra hands to finish show floor styling, PSP pitched in on plants, furniture and rugs alongside the build, and worked with the creative team on the stage furniture more broadly.
The result
A flawless show, no room for error alongside an amazing technical team on delivery, two PSP project managers, 24 AV technicians, six camera operators and 26 local crew, Two articulated lorries and a 26-tonne truck.
The client's feedback after the show summed up what the team delivered:
“The technical delivery and look and feel of the stages across DCD Connect London was exceptional. There was a huge amount going on, multiple stages, cameras, studios, sponsored spaces and all the inevitable moving parts that come with a show of this size, yet once we opened the doors, it all felt remarkably seamless.”
“I know the event is in very capable hands, and when you’re juggling a hundred other things, that confidence in your partners is priceless.”
