Back to University
Sammy Shares Her 3D Journey
We’re proud to support and celebrate the growth of our team – not just within the business, but across the wider industry too. So when our 3D designer Sammy was invited back to her former university to speak to the next generation of creatives, we couldn’t have been more pleased.
Returning to Edge Hill University, where she graduated in 2016, Sammy gave a talk to third-year students on her professional journey so far. sharing some of her original 3D University work alongside more recent flythroughs and visuals from real events she’s worked on here at PSP.
“It was a great opportunity to reflect on how much progress can be made after leaving university,” she said, “and to highlight the continuous development that comes with experience.”
We know how important it is to nurture creative talent – and Sammy’s story is a brilliant example of how far that talent can go. Her talk gave students valuable insight into a career path many hadn’t even considered.
“Before starting my career in events, I had no idea this type of role even existed,” she added. “So, it was especially rewarding to shed light on a career path that many may not have considered.”
We believe in the importance of giving back – sharing knowledge, supporting young professionals, and shining a light on careers in the live events industry. Whether it’s mentoring, guest speaking, or simply being visible to those just starting out, we know how much impact these moments can have.
We’re incredibly proud of Sammy for helping to inspire the next generation of designers.
