PSP are delighted to unveil their new widescreen solution: Wide-x. This is a creative, flexible and affordable system that has no limitations and will create truly inspiring ultra-widescreen events.

Flexible
Up to 6 projectors can be seamlessly edge-blended into one ultra widescreen. Presentations can either be pre-formatted into ultra-widescreen or if the presentation is in a normal 4:3 format a PiP (picture in picture) window is used, making a very flexible system. PiP's can be inserted as and when to accommodate videos, graphics and live camera.

Create
Programming is straightforward and the enitre process is handled from start to finish by our Project Managers. PSP's graphics department can design everything for your presentation from PowerPoint and graphic design to sourcing video backgrounds and animation.

Affordable
Unlike other widescreen systems Wide-x is an affordable solution due to it's flexibility with prices starting at £2000 per day + VAT (including 2 x 10,000 lumens projectors).

System
The system is built into customized racks containing a state of the art computer with Showmanager which has the ability to program sequences visually and intuitively, to switch from one source to another with their associated transitions. The computer has a bult in multi-output board that enables graphics to be projected at the full widescreen resolution. As a result there is no pixulation of content. The system contains either 2 or 3 eventix units, control computer,  DVD/ video playback, multi-output computer, DA for all inputs and monitors. The maximum number of projectors that can currently be used is 6. 2 PiP's can be inserted per projector, so a maximum of 6 PIP's can be used on a 3 projector system. Wide-x is a real time processign system: video and computer backgrounds, including those in PiP windows, are processed in real time and with no visible delay even when using live camera.

Screen
Either rear or front projection is possible.
