Venue: The River Bank Park Plaza
Brief: Supply all technical elements and project management for one of the capital's biggest music awards ceremonies. Access at 1800 and be ready for a 1000 rehearsal the following day.
Solution: To add something to the design Colorweb was incorporated in to the set in panels, this was powered by a hippotizer which enabled low-res video effects to be played through it. 5 x square format projection screens displayed custom graphics and video packages of the nominations and winners. Due to the high number of video's a grass valley turbo was utilised.
The lighting rig consisted of LED battens, P90's and micros. Moving lights were a mix of Mac700's, 500's and 250's.LED strips were built in to the stage facia and the custom awards plinth incorporated LED.
Two crews were used for the overnight rig and a seperate crew for the show. To ensure that we were ready for the 10am rehearsal.
