Venue: Aggregates Quarry, Barndon Hill
Brief: To provide technical support and project management for this internal communications event. The conference took part in the Leicester Marriott. Guests would then move to the quarry for a dinner. To provide a 65ft outdoor projection screen and illuminate various building around the site in time to the video.
Solution: The technical production at the Marriott was straight forward and involved a standard conference package. The quarry prevented a number of challenges, the site being a quarry meant that Health & Safety of the crew was paramount at all times. The marquee involved a custom set, LED lighting, nexo PA and projection.
The outdoor screen was constructed on-site with a projection tower and control position. For the screen 2 twinned Christie 20K roadsters were used, with playback through a D&B system. With some of the landmarks nearly a mile away and scattered across the site 4 Gladiator followspots illuminated the landmarks at the various points during the video.
