The Zurich premiership awards were held at the Rose Room in Twickenham stadium to mark the end of the season and celebrate players who have made outstanding contributions to the game. We were appointed by Rodber Thorneycroft to provide technical management for the event.

For the set we produced a 20ft wide printed backdrop which incorporated two widescreens. To add to the room we produced 12 printed banners to represent each club and they were hung around the sides of the room. LED lighting was used to provide colour changes on the set and banners. The event was hosted by Simon Lazenby, Sky Sports senior rugby presenter. The evening was filmed by Sky who built a studio at the back of the room to interview the award winners. The awards ceremony was then shown on Sky Sports rugby club the following evening. Leicester were rewarded for their outstanding season with Martin Corry, Ollie Smith, John Wells and Martin Johnson all receiving awards.
