In July, 400 O2 employees attended "Let Moto Entertain You" at the New Century Hall in Manchester. We were appointed by Rodber Thorneycroft to carry out the technical management for the event.

The evening was hosted by Vernon Kay, with the audience taking part in classic game shows - SLVR of Fortune and Play your RAZR Right, competing for top prizes.

Breakthrough artist Paulo Nutini performed four songs from his new album, including "Last Request". With magician Paul Zennon and pub landlord Al Murray also performing. A nightclub was built on-site called ClubMoto, where DJ Spoony entertained the guests in the after-show party.

For the sound a 8 speaker Nexo system was used with sub-base units. A Midas Verona 40 channel desk was used. Two 15ft (16:9) wide screens were used, with two Sanyo XF45 projectors. Three live cameras relayed live images to the screen mixed through a FORA mixer. The eventix was used in matrix mode so any image source could be displayed on either screen. Flash was used extensively throughout the show to create the random name generator which choose contestants for the game shows and for the catchphrases. The lighting rig consisted of 16 Moving lights, 20 LED fixtures and 25 generic lamps., controlled by a Pearl desk. All stage props including the wheel of fortune and play your cards right were custom designed and built for this event.
