What an incredible event, PSP were involved with TED Global a few years back when TED Global was last in the UK. We were delighted to be involved again when the event came back and what an event it was.
TED stands for technology, entertainment and design and the speakers over the 4 days were from totally different areas of expertise. Gordon Brown made a surprise visit to the conference and spoke on climate change.
The event utilised many venues across the city and crew logistics proved interesting with multiple crews based around different sites.
PSP took care of all technical aspects. Presenters were allowed between 3 and 18 minutes to present, which made the technical mamangement of presentations very interesting! The presenters turned up with presentations in all kinds of formats from the traditional powerpoint to keynote and one presenter even used his mobile phone! Multiple speaker preperation rooms ensured that we were technically ready for presentation when speakers arrived for their rehearsals.
Mike and the team have now headed off to India to work on TED India in November, but more from them on their return...
