RFU Centenary Dinner
On Monday 2nd November, Twickenham held a very special dinner to celebrate the Centenary Season. PSP were appointed by RT Marketing to provide technical services and project management of the event. The guests at this star studded event included the current England rugby team and former players and coaches.
The 5 pillars down the centre of the room meant the need for lots of plasma screens. So we used 2 x 103", 2 x 60", 5 x 50" and 2 x 42" plasma screens to ensure that every guest had a great view of the action. The audio was taken care of by our Yamaha LS9 and D&B Q7's and subs.
For lighting we installed two truss systems, from which were flown LED P90's, Mac700's, Mac 250's and generic lamps.
Graphics were produced in keynote and video playback came from the Grass Valley turbo.
The set encompassed 2 x front projection screens. The set was desinged to fit with the existing event branding and large printed panels were used. LED Alkalite strips brought colour and effect to the panels.
The table centres went down a storm with guests getting the England players to sign the mini-england shirts!
