England Rugby World Cup Send Off Dinner
Over 700 guests were at Twickenham stadium to bid farewell to the England Rugby Team before they departed for New Zealand. The England Squad were officially unveiled at the dinner with the annoncement live of Sky News.
PSP were appointed by RT Marketing to supply production management and all technical and scenic elements for this event.
The stage had to be large enough for the 30 members of the England squad, so a 4 tiered stage was constructed. The set was a printed canvas with acrylic columns. 2 x HD 85" plasmas were also built in to the set. Lighting consisted of 16 moving heads and 30 generic lamps. The event was filmed in HD with Sky News taking a live feed of our camera mix and audio feed.
After the meal the guests headed next door to the Live Room to see a 45 minute set from Madness. The guests danced the night away to all the classics, with the Dixon Brothers rounding off the evening.
